DNA testing on the human remains found in a Polish cathedral in 2005 reveals they are of Copernicus, the 16th-century astronomer who discovered that the Earth is not the center of the universe, Discover is reporting.

They used a strand of his hair from one of his books to make the DNA match.

I hope they don’t try to go “Jurassic Park” on it and clone another Copernicus. He might determined that the U.S. is not the center of all of things.
