Boar crashes church breakfast

A wild boar on Thursday crashed through a window at a Frankfurt church and disrupted a breakfast being shared by mothers and their children before it exited the same way it had entered, Der Spiegel is reporting.

This was not the Frankfurt area’s first unusual encounter with a wild boar.

A growing wild boar population has led to gangs of the animals being spotted around the city. A gang of boars has attacked car thieves and has gone nuts in a home improvement store.

Hunters like the idea of there being more boar to track down and kill, but city officials are looking for a more humane solution to the boar problem. They have hired a Dr. Doolittle to deal with the situation.
