More than 2,000 people are asking President Bush for pardons or commuted sentences before he leaves office, the AP is reporting.

Among the petitioners are some high-profile figures, like media baron Conrad Black and junk-bond czar Michael Milken. Even the “American Taliban,” John Walker Lindh, is seeking a pardon.

I don’t see much of a chance for a Lindh pardon. He’s actually asking for a “do-over.”
