An actor in a British public announcement about how to avoid swine flu has been diagnosed with — swine flu, the Live Feed is reporting.

In the British Health Department ad, actor David McCusker first sneezes the “wrong” way in an elevator, spraying mucus everywhere. Then he sneezes the “right” way — into a tissue, which he immediately throws away and washes his hands.

In real life, he sneezed into the face of Porky Pig, who promptly sneezed right back on him.

This goes to show you just how pernicious this swine flu is — just pretending you’ve got it can make you sick.

I wonder if the actor can claim workmen’s compensation for the flu.
