An Alaska state trooper says the drug investigation of Bristol Palin’s fiance’s mother was delayed because of Gov. Sarah Palin’s vice-presidential campaign, the Anchorage Daily News is reporting.

Alaska used to be such a quiet state.  Now, with a senator heading to prison, a failed vice-presidential candidate and two widely reported trooper-related scandals, Alaska is starting to sound like Illinois.
