An aide to New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo is urging union and state leaders not to support Caroline Kennedy’s bid to fill a vacant U.S. Senate seat, the New York Times is reporting.

Let’s see, Minnesota has certified a winner in its Senate race, but they’re not certain about the vote count. Illinois has appointed a senator, but the Senate won’t let him onto the floor. And New York is witnessing a back alley knife fight over its Senate appointment.
