It’ll be a long, long night for Andray Blatche, JaVale McGee and Darius Songaila in particular as they will have to team up and take turns guarding Shaq, who this season is averaging 17.8 points and 9.1 rebounds a game. Ed Tapscott said “I’m not saying we’re going to use the Hack-a-Shaq technique, but I’m not saying we won’t. I might just tell our guys, any time he gets the ball, just grab him and hang on and we’ll be sending the calvary.”

The Wizards will have the usual starting lineup of Dominic McGuire, Antawn Jamison and Andray Blatche up front and Caron Butler and Mike James in the backcourt.

The Suns will go with Grant Hill and Amar’e Stoudemire at forward, Shaq, and Jason Richardson and Steven Nash at guard.
