Wizards spokesman Scott Hall said power forward Antawn Jamison had surgery yesterday to remove a bone spur from his right ankle and is expected to make a full recovery.

It’s the injury that forced Jamison out of the final game of the season and kept him from reaching his goal of playing all 82 this year.

Jamison had the surgery done at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

Otherwise, all quiet on the Wizards’ front. The team will begin their first pre-draft workouts sometime next week, likely Wednesday. No big names are expected next week, however. Mostly seniors and second-round projections.

Flip Saunders has yet to settle on a coaching staff, Hall said. Saunders left the District yesterday to go back to Minnesota and will be there the rest of the week.
