The Mystics made a roster move Monday morning, releasing Tasha Humphrey and bringing back Bernice Mosby, the team’s first round draft pick in 2007.

Humphrey, the team’s backup center and a third-year veteran, had played in all nine of the Mystics’ games, starting none, averaging 7.4 minutes and 2.2 points.

Mosby never really developed in her first two seasons, after the Mystics made her the sixth overall pick in the 2007 draft. The Baylor product (a first-team all-Big 12 selection) started just one game in two seasons and averaged 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds. The Mystics made her one of the final cuts before this season started.

The Mystics, who lost on Friday to Atlanta, are 5-4 heading into Tuesday’s game at Minnesota; they return home Saturday for a 7 p.m. tip with Los Angeles.
