Former Maryland Lt. Gov. Michael Steele won the RNC chairmanship today after several hours of voting, beating South Carolina’s Katon Dawson 91 to 77 on the sixth ballot.

Steele promised change to the way the GOP does business and said “for those of you who wish to obstruct, get ready to get knocked over.”
