The Redskins have agreed to terms with free agent linebacker Keyaron Fox, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. ESPN980-AM first reported the news.

Fox, 29, played the last three seasons for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The first two were for current Redskins linebackers coach Lou Spanos. Fox also was the Steelers’ special teams captain.

Fox played his first four NFL seasons for the Kansas City Chiefs. He had 17 solo tackles and six assists in 16 games last seasons.

The Redskins on Saturday night officially announced that linebackers Robert Henson and Kyle O’Donnell and defensive lineman Joe Joseph were released.
