On the eve of the Redskins’ first full training camp practice, the club agreed to terms Thursday night with first-round pick Ryan Kerrigan and second-round pick Jarvis Jenkins.

Jenkins, a defensive end, tweeted that he signed his contract. Kerrigan is expected to sign before joining the team on the field at 8:30 a.m. Friday. Terms of the deals were not immediately known.

Kerrigan during the offseason spoke several times about his desire to report to training camp on time.

“Who wants to miss practice?” he said earlier this week. “I want to get better, especially since I’m making the transition [from defensive end] to outside linebacker.”

Jenkins did not attend any of the Redskins’ informal workouts in May or June, so we’ll get our first look at him on Friday.

At least 11 of the Redskins’ 12 draft picks have agreed to terms and will practice on Friday, according to various sources and reports. Seventh-round pick Maurice Hurt was the only one unaccounted for as of Thursday night, but it is possible he has signed. A seventh-round holdout is practically unheard of.
