Receiver Leonard Hankerson early Thursday morning became the first of the Redskins’ 12 draft picks to sign his rookie contract.

“Done Deal peeps!!!” Hankerson wrote on his Twitter account.

The four-year deal is worth approximately $2.72 million, according to 106.7 The Fan’s Grant Paulsen.

Hankerson was drafted in the third-round (79th overall) out of the University of Miami.

Training camp starts Thursday with a midday team meeting and physicals. The first on-field practice is Friday.
