The Redskins on Monday signed free agent tackle Chris Campbell. Campbell is the third lineman the Redskins have signed since camp began, as they continue to contend with a rash injuries that has ravaged their line.
Campbell (6-5, 328) spent parts of the last two seasons on Green Bay’s practice squad, but he has no regular-season game experience. He was an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Illinois, which is Mike Shanahan’s alma mater.
To make room for Campbell, the Redskins waived/injured receiver Darius Hanks. Hanks signed as a college free agent in May.
