Redskins injury updates (12/21): Stephen Bowen, Tyler Polumbus only Redskins listed as questionable

The Redskins were banged up when they departed Cleveland last Sunday, but their collective prognosis appears quite favorable for Sunday’s game at Philadelphia.

Not only is quarterback Robert Griffin III expected to start against the Eagles after being held out last week with a mildly sprained right knee, only two players - defensive end Stephen Bowen and right tackle Tyler Polumbus - are listed as questionable for the game, and both of them are expected to play Sunday.

Bowen (torn left biceps) and Polumbus (concussion) were limited in practice Friday.

Seven players are listed as probable: Griffin (right knee), linebacker Lorenzo Alexander (right shoulder), linebacker London Fletcher (left ankle), center Will Montgomery (left knee MCL), linebacker Ryan Kerrigan (ankle) and left tackle Trent Williams (left thigh). Linebacker Rob Jackson is listed as probable, but that’s just a technicality because he missed practice on Wednesday to attend the birth of his daughter.

Fletcher is the only probable player who was limited in Friday’s practice.

Alexander missed the workout to attend a funeral, coach Mike Shanahan said.
