Chicago's win over Detroit means the Redskins must defeat or tie Dallas to make the playoffs

The Redskins must defeat or tie Dallas on Sunday night in order to make the playoffs because Chicago defeated Detroit, 26-24, on Sunday afternoon.

The Redskins, who are 9-6 entering Sunday night’s game, cannot qualify for the NFC playoffs as a wild card team. Seattle already has 10 wins, and Chicago improved to 10-6 by beating the Lions.

If the Redskins lose to Dallas, Dallas would win the division, and the Redskins would finish 9-7 and miss the playoffs.

If the Redskins win or tie, they would host either San Francisco or Seattle in the first round of the playoffs next weekend.
