General manager Bruce Allen, owner Daniel Snyder and coach Mike Shanahan each declined to comment Monday. The team hopes to learn more details about how the process will proceed. Allen and Snyder each said they might comment at some point during the meetings. Shanahan is scheduled to speak to reporters on Wednesday morning.
New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft told reporters Monday afternoon that the issue is in lawyers’ hands.
Commissioner Roger Goodell is scheduled to host a news conference around 5 p.m. It will be interesting to hear what he says, if he says anything at all.
