Free agent quarterback Peyton Manning visited the Denver Broncos on Friday and will soon visit Arizona and Miami, according to a Denver Post report.

Manning, one of the most accomplished passers in NFL history, is the target of an intense recruitment. Chris Russell of ESPN980 radio in Washington reported on Thursday that Redskins officials believe Manning has ruled them out. The report cited several factors, including Manning’s desire to avoid regularly playing his brother, Eli, who quarterbacks the New York Giants.

Manning is determined to contend for another Super Bowl, which seemingly puts the Redskins at a disadvantage considering they have finished in last place in the NFC East four consecutive seasons.

Multiple national outlets have reported Manning hopes to decide by early next week which team he’ll join.
