The NFL has fined Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall $30,000 for his altercation with a referee in the final minutes of a loss to Pittsburgh on Oct. 28, according to a CBSSports.com report. The NFL later reported the fine on its website.

The league determined soon after the incident that Hall would be fined and not suspended, a source said at the time, but the league’s review of the case took longer than usual. Hall asserted that head linesman Dana McKenzie used profanity during their exchange.

Hall became irate after Pittsburgh receiver Emmanuel Sanders took him down by the head and flipped him during a run block in the final minutes of the game. Hall approached McKenzie, and they exchanged words. Hall was ejected from the game.

Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan was fined $20,000 for his profane rant at an official at the end of Washington’s Week 3 loss to Cincinnati.

The Redskins host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.
