Media Predictions: Redskins-Giants

← return to Redskins Watch

Well, my record picking Redskins games officially is off the rails. You might be glad, then, to see I picked the Giants this week. I think Eli Manning will challenge the Redskins’ secondary in ways Minnesota’s Christian Ponder didn’t last week. Ponder was too inaccurate and quick to roll out of the pocket when pressured. Eli is more poised and will be more accurate, and he has better receivers. If the Redskins’ secondary holds up against the Giants, then it would be fair to say it has turned a corner.

The oddsmakers apparently were not impressed by Washington’s win last week. The Giants are favored by 6. I say that’s crazy. The Redskins have a great chance to win, in my opinion. I just think Eli will be too much.
