Redskins punter Sav Rocca is active and expected to play against the New York Giants on Sunday. He injured one of his knees while running during practice Thursday, but he tested his knee Saturday and deemed himself fit enough to play.

Fullback Darrel Young (hamstring) is active and is expected to play.

Receiver Pierre Garcon (second toe, right foot) will miss his second straight game, as expected. He is inactive after not practicing all week. Leonard Hankerson, who was listed as probable for the game because of an illness late in the week, is expected to start in Garcon’s place.

Cornerback David Jones, defensive lineman Doug Worthington, quarterback Rex Grossman, rookie offensive linemen Josh LeRibeus and Adam Gettis and strong safety Brandon Meriweather are inactive.

Cornerback Cedric Griffin (hamstring) is expected to play for the first time since Week 3.
