Wide receiver Pierre Garcon and left tackle Trent Williams emerged OK from the Redskins’ win over Tampa Bay on Sunday. Garcon (right foot) and Williams (bruised right knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, coach Mike Shanahan said, as the Redskins began preparing for this Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Receiver Aldrick Robinson will have concussion tests tomorrow to determine whether he can fully participate in practice, Shanahan said. He was limited in Wednesday’s session. He wore a gold non-contact jersey to match yellow tights and a yellow long-sleeved shirt under his jersey. He left the locker room looking like a human stick of butter.
Safety Brandon Meriweather (sprained left knee) will not play against Atlanta as a result of his pre-game collision with Robinson prior to the win over Tampa Bay.
Cornerback Cedric Griffin (hamstring) did not practice. He is in danger of missing his second straight game.
Receiver Brandon Banks (hip) and running back Evan Royster (right knee) were limited Wednesday.
Shanahan did not mention fullback Darrel Young among the injured. Young suffered cracked ribs on a first-quarter reception last Sunday, but he played the whole game.
