Receiver Aldrick Robinson, who suffered a concussion in a collision prior to Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay, was cleared to practice late Wednesday and fully participated in Thursday’s session. He is eligible to play against Atlanta on Sunday.
Shanahan believed Robinson was capable of playing against Tampa Bay after talking with him following the collision, but Robinson was subjected to NFL protocol, which involves a series of tests, because he was knocked unconscious for more than a minute.
Cornerback Cedric Griffin (hamstring) did not practice Thursday.
Receiver Brandon Banks (hip) and running back Evan Royster were limited.
Left tackle Trent Williams (right knee) and receiver Pierre Garcon (right foot) fully participated.
