Updating Redskins injuries after Thursday’s practice:

Left tackle Trent Williams missed practice for the second straight day, still hobbled by the right knee bone bruise he suffered against Cincinnati last Sunday. Williams could play against Tampa Bay on Sunday even if he doesn’t practice Friday, coach Mike Shanahan said.

Cornerback Cedric Griffin (hamstring) also missed practice.

Receiver Brandon Banks (hip) was limited in practice. He was not on Wednesday’s injury report.

Receiver Pierre Garcon (right foot) is improving.

“It’s getting better, I can see that,” Shanahan said. “But until he’s able to go, he’s just getting better.”

Safety Brandon Meriweather (left knee) and running back Evan Royster (knee) also were limited.
