Before Baltimore Orioles’ top prospect Kevin Gausman took the mound for the Class-AA Bowie Baysox on Sunday, new Redskins cornerback E.J. Biggers threw out the first pitch.
Biggers later spoke about the Redskins adding three draft picks to the secondary and how he is fitting into the team during the offseason conditioning program. I’ll have those comments for you tomorrow, so check back in.
He appeared to promote the charity softball game between a team of NFL players and the Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball team on Sat., June 1 at Prince George’s Stadium. Several other Redskins are scheduled to be involved, include receiver Josh Morgan, tight end Fred Davis and fullback Darrel Young. You can learn more about that here.
Biggers’ pitch was high and inside.
