Washington Redskins left guard Kory Lichtensteiger did not practice Wednesday as he deals with a left ankle injury.
Lichtensteiger, who was confident after the victory over the Dallas Cowboys that he would play Sunday in the playoff opener against the Seattle Seahawks, said Wednesday he was still hopeful. He will continue to get treatment as the week progresses.
Quarterback Kirk Cousins did not practice with the flu, and cornerback D.J. Johnson was out with a left knee injury. Linebacker London Fletcher also did not practice on his injured left ankle, but that has been customary for the veteran.
Safety DeJon Gomes (left knee sprain) was limited in practice, coach Mike Shanahan said. Gomes said he was optimistic about playing against the Seahawks.
Shanahan said 11 players who were full participants in practice were receiving treatment.
