Redskins inside linebacker Perry Riley, Jr. was fined $15,750 by the NFL this week for a late hit on Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo in last Sunday’s 31-16 loss, according to a league spokesman.

Riley hit Romo late in the first quarter. Dallas safety Barry Church was tagged with two personal fouls in the game for hits on Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III, but was not fined for either.
