Wide receiver Pierre Garçon was able to complete a full practice on Thursday, a day after he missed a portion because of an unspecified calf injury.

Garçon, the Redskins’ leader with 47 receptions for 512 yards, told reporters Thursday afternoon he did not want to speak about the injury when asked at his locker.

Head coach Mike Shanahan said the injury happened in the Redskins’ 45-21 road loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Free safety Jose Gumbs, who sprained his left ankle, returned to a limited practice on Thursday after sitting out entirely the day before. The other seven players listed on the injury report – quarterback Robert Griffin III, defensive end Stephen Bowen, strong safety Reed Doughty, receiver Leonard Hankerson, tight end Niles Paul, nose tackle Chris Neild and running back Chris Thompson – all finished a full practice for the second consecutive day.

The Chargers had no changes on their injury report from Wednesday. Inside linebacker Donald Butler (strained groin) and wide receiver Eddie Royal (unspecified toe injury) sat out of practice, while left guard Chad Rinehart (turf toe in his right foot), outside linebacker Jarret Johnson (strained right hamstring) and free safety Eric Weddle (unspecified toe injury) finished a full practice.
