The three injured Washington Redskins who were limited in the first practice of this week participated fully on Thursday, coach Mike Shanahan said.
Cornerback David Amerson told Shanahan he tweaked his back in the weight room on Tuesday the day after the 33-27 loss to Philadelphia. No word on if the initial injury happened during the game itself.
Defensive lineman Chris Baker was out with an illness on Wednesday, but returned to action on Thursday. The Redskins practiced indoors in their bubble as thunderstorms passed through Ashburn during the afternoon.
Meanwhile, strong safety Brandon Meriweather (groin) looks on pace to make his season debut. He practiced for the second day in a row after sitting out the Philadelphia game on Monday.
“I told you all last year, the worst thing is watching your team go through something and you’re just sitting there watching,” Meriweather said. “It’s frustrating to sit on the sideline and watch the people that you went through camp with and you done grew to love go through a war and you’re not there to help them.”
