Bruised ribs, no break for Redskins running back Alfred Morris

Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris said on Monday that X-rays were negative on the bruised ribs he suffered in Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders. Morris left the game late in the third quarter moments before Washington scored a go-ahead touchdown to take a 17-14 lead. He did not return to the game.

Pierre Garcon on RG3: "I don't think he's 100 percent."

Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon saw some improvement in his team's offense in a 27-20 loss to the Detroit Lions. But a loss is a loss. And it is clear that quarterback Robert Griffin III, responsible for two turnovers on Sunday, is only in fits and starts working his way back from major knee surgery.
