Yet another former Skins DB

It’s getting to be quite a week for former Redskins DBs. First, the New York Giants signed safety Stuart Schweigert, whom Washington cut on Monday after a little more than two months. Two days ago, Oakland signed safety Adam Archuleta, one of the symbols of the Redskins‘ crash from wild card in 2005 to worthless in 2006. And now comes word that the Patriots signed cornerback Ade Jimoh. A Redskins special-teamer from 2003-06 even though he could barely cover a sportswriter at corner, Jimoh, like Archuleta, caught on with Chicago for a while last season before ending the year on I.R. But never underestimate Pats boss Bill Belichick, the coach who first exposed Archuleta two Augusts ago and who got production that year from corner Artrell Hawkins, who couldn’t beat out Jimoh in Washington.
