The Jim Zorn era doesn’t officially begin until 8:30 tomorrow morning with the first preseason practice. But the meetings for players and coaches begin even earlier.

The first official meeting will take place at four o’clock Saturday afternoon at the National Conference Center, where Zorn will go over the typical “nuts and bolts” of training camp.

Zorn said he would brief players and staff on dealing with the media and how to get to and from the various training camp facilities. The training staff will discuss treating injuries and rehabilitation, and Equipment Manager Brad Berlin will discuss…equipment!

After a short break for dinner, the team will divide into offense, defense and special teams for what Zorn calls the “first installation.”

“We’re going to have all three of those meetings tonight,” Zorn said, “So we can start right out in the morning.”
