Portis sits, Springs still absent

A quiet third day of Redskins OTAs just wrapped up with these developments:

- Running back Clinton Portis, who missed time during last month’s OTAs with a strained hip flexor, sat out with a recurrence of the injury

- Cornerback Shawn Springs still has yet to tell the Redskins why he hasn’t shown. Coach Jim Zorn joked that he still had the all points bulletin out for Springs. The sessions are voluntary, but Springs is the only player on the roster who’s not here.
