He came onto the field at 5:15 p.m. and doing a variety of agility drills (not in uniform) with Stump Mitchell and, from the medical staff, Larry Hess.
Watching from the side are coach Jim Zorn, trainers Bubba Tyer and John Burrell and offensive coordinator Sherman Smith.
At 5:30, Portis chatted with a group of seven people on the sideline.
