Left tackle Chris Samuels and receiver Santana Moss, both game-time decisions due to knee and hamstring injuries, respectively, will start tonight for the Washington Redskins against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Both players missed practice throughout the week – Samuels sat out last week’s win over Detroit and Moss was injured late in the win.
Samuels appeared to be on track to play but his status was put in question Saturday even though he participated in all four days of practice.
Moss did not practice at all during the week but came onto the field two hours before kickoff, running routes and catching passes thrown by third-string quarterback Colt Brennan.
The other inactives for the Redskins: Malcolm Kelly, Shawn Springs, Ladell Betts, Jason Taylor, Chad Rinehart and Rob Jackson.
Pittsburgh was without safety Ryan Clark and left tackle Marvel Smith.
