Zorn upbeat on all but Springs

Cornerback Shawn Springs, who didn’t practice today after reinjuring his calf late in Thursday’s practice, is the only player whom coach Jim Zorn isn’t sure will be ready to face Cleveland on Sunday. That’s besides running back Ladell Betts, who’s out a couple of weeks with a sprained knee. Zorn said that he expects NFL rushing leader Clinton Portis (hip), Pro Bowl tackle Chris Samuels (knee, ankle), cornerbacks Carlos Rogers (calf) and Fred Smoot (groin), defensive end Jason Taylor (calf), safety Chris Horton (ankle) and special teams ace Khary Campbell (calf) all to play against the Browns.
