If Clinton Portis runs for at least 120 yards against Pittsburgh on Monday, he’ll tie the alltime NFL mark of six straight such games. The record is held by Hall of Famers Earl Campbell of the Houston Oilers (1980) and Eric Dickerson (1984) of the Los Angeles Rams (1984). Portis, who turned an ankle on his final carry last week and was already playing with a bad hip, will try to match those legends against the Steelers’ third-ranked run defense.
