Plenty of bodies not in practice

The good news for the Redskins is that the three starters who sat out last week’s game at Detroit: offensive tackle Chris Samuels, defensive tackle Cornelius Griffin and safety Chris Horton are practicing today. That’s a pretty good indication that they’ll play Monday against Pittsburgh.

The bad new is that 10 of their teammates aren’t able to work today. That list includes running backs Ladell Betts (knee),  Rock Cartwright (unknown) and Clinton Portis (hip, ankle), receivers Malcolm Kelly (knee) and Santana Moss (hamstring), guard Pete Kendall (knees), defensive end Jason Taylor (calf), cornerbacks Carlos Rogers (calf) and Shawn Springs (calf) and safety LaRon Landry (hamstring).
