Springs, Washington game-time decisions

Coach Jim Zorn said left cornerback Shawn Springs (calf) and strong side linebacker Marcus Washington (hamstring) will be game-time decisions on Sunday in Philadelphia.

Washington was limited again in practice today, but he and Zorn both expect him to play since he played with the same injury last week in Dallas. Zorn, who said yesterday that he would probably sit Springs down if he couldn’t practice today, backtracked and said that he’s leaving the door open for the cornerback to play against the pass-happy Eagles.

However, Zorn said that right tackle Stephon Heyer (shoulder) and left end Jason Taylor (calf) won’t play, meaning second consecutive starts for Jon Jansen and Demetric Evans, respectively. And rookie receiver Malcolm Kelly will be inactive for the fourth time in five games, though he practiced all week.
