As hot and humid as it is here in Landover, today’s Saints-Redskins game figures to be won by the team that handles the heat better. With New Orleans missing three starters on defense and one on offense, that should be advantage Washington. However, Hurricane Ike drove the Saints inside on Thursday. Coach Sean Payton turned up the heat to simulate the swam-like Bayou. And the power died on Friday, preventing the fans from blowing. The temperature rose to epic proportions, but no one passed out with dehydration. So maybe the Saints can handle wearing black unis today as they will.
