With Arizona playing at the New York Jets next Sunday, coach Ken Whisenhunt opted to keep the Cardinals in the Eastern time zone. They’ll stay in Tysons Corner and work out at Catholic University.

“Whenever you travel across country and change time zones, there’s an effect on the body,” Whisenhunt said. “When you couple the travel with the physical effects of the game, it’s tough. We’re staying because it gives us a better chance to win one of these games. Last year, we weren’t very good [2-6 on the road] We’re trying to be better.”
