Rokie receiver Malcolm Kelly said that his ankle is recovered from last week’s sprain, but he’s among Washington’s inactive players. The others are cornerback Justin Tryon, rookie guard Chad Rinehart, rookie defensive end Rob Jackson, safety Justin Hamilton, defensive end Erasmus James and offensive tackle Jason Fabini. Rookie Colt Brennan is the third quarterback.

All of this means that linebackers Marcus Washington (hamstring) and Khary Campbell (thigh) are back along with receiver James Thrash (ankle), who was hurt last Sunday and was in a walking boot the next day. Washington reclaims his spot in the starting lineup, replacing H.B. Blades, while Reed Doughty, who was sick last Sunday, is also back in place of rookie strong safety Chris Horton.
