The Redskins didn’t waste any time taking Texas passrusher Brian Orakpo with the 13th pick. He was their favorite player all along — which is why they used just 2:25 of their alloted 10 minutes to make the selection — and they can use him at left defensive end or strongside linebacker. He’ll probably play the latter on first and second downs and the latter on third downs as Marcus Washington did the past five years.
