Third round, No. 80 — California DE Rulon Davis (following in the footsteps of current RDE Andre Carter, an All-American for the Golden Bears).

Fifth round, No. 150 — Maryland G Jamie Thomas (following in the footsteps of current RT candidate Stephon Heyer, an ex-Terp)

Sixth round, No. 186 — Oklahoma WR Manuel Johnson (following in the footsteps of 2008 second-rounder Malcolm Kelly, another former Sooners WR).

Seventh round, No. 243 — West Virginia C Mike Dent (West Virginia starts with a W as does Wisconsin, alma mater of current C Casey Rabach).
