There were two notable absences at practice this morning, the only full-squad workout of the day.
TE Chris Cooley and DE Phillip Daniels watched practice.
Cooley said he had a muscle spasm in his lower back but intends to practice Thursday. It was only the second missed practice for Cooley since he came to the Redskins in 2004.
Daniels had his left knee drained after the swelling wouldn’t go down. It’s the same knee that Daniels had surgery on last year following an ACL tear. He expects to play Saturday against Pittsburgh.
OL Mike Williams (low ankle sprain) sat out practice and OL Devin Clark (knee) was injured during practice.
