Allen, Thomas watching

Bruce Allen is watching practice for the first time since being named Washington’s general manager last Thursday. It’s Allen’s first Redskins practice since 1977, his father’s last season as the team’s coach-GM.

All the players were working except receiver Devin Thomas, who sprained his right ankle on Monday against the Giants. Thomas still expects to play Sunday against Dallas.
