The Redskins have used their 2010 third round pick to select Kentucky defensive end Jeremy Jarmon in the supplemental draft.

Jarmon entered the draft after he failed an NCAA drug test for a banned substance and his appeal was denied. He would have been ineliglble to play for the Wildcats this year.

Jarmon was considered the top prospect of the eight players entered into the draft and 18 NFL teams attended his Pro Day earlier this month. Redskins VP Vinny Cerrato was in attendance.

Jarmon had seven sacks in 2007 and four sacks last year.
