Last Sunday, Cody Glenn began his NFL career by lying about why he was suspended for the end of his senior season at Nebraska.
The Redskins’ fifth-round draft choice began minicamp this weekend apologizing for that mistake — although not revealing the truth.
The linebacker finished minicamp standing and watching in a downpour, unable to practice after pulling a hamstring during Saturday afternoon’s session.
Good thing for Glenn that he and the rest of the rookies aren’t due back in Ashburn until June 1.
