Washington/Hackett update

Kelley Washington will put the Redskins’ contract offer on hold at least through the weekend when he will be participating in the Baltimore Ravens’ minicamp.

Fellow receiver D.J. Hackett had to turn down his offer from the Redskins because he needed to attend to some urgent family matters this week and couldn’t participate in the organized team activities at Redskin Park.

The Redskins might re-issue their offer for the June OTAs depending on how new receivers Roydell Williams and Trent Shelton look and whether the ailing James Thrash (neck), Malcolm Kelly (knee) and Devin Thomas (hamstring) will be ready for those sessions.
