Cooley, Blades, Westbrook absent

Chris Cooley, H.B. Blades and Byron Westbrook aren’t practicing, as expected, but everyone else is on the field as the Redskins returned todat from a 5-day break.

Pro Bowl tight end Cooley will miss at least the next three games after having his broken right ankle operated on last Wednesday. Special teamers Blades and Westbrook are expected to miss Sunday’s game at Atlanta.

All three were hurt in the 27-17 loss to Philadelphia on Oct. 26.

Fred Davis will replace Cooley. Rookies Robert Henson and Kevin Barnes may be activated for the first time in place of Blades and Westbrook.

Left tackle Stephon Heyer is on the field but is moving slowly with his left knee, injured against the Eagles, wrapped pretty heavily. If Heyer isn’t ready on Sunday, Levi Jones could make his first Redskins start.
